I love Back to the Future and I love Michael J Fox. This remake makes me nostalgic. It’s to promote this year’s Spike TV Scream Awards — where the cast of “Back to the Future” will reunite — Fox took part in a shot-for-shot recreation of the original teaser trailer for the movie. The video matches the original in nearly every detail, from the tongues sticking out of Fox’s Nikes to the pulsating of the time machine’s Flux Capacitor.

Sketchers has just come out with a line called Bobs, and for every pair purchased, the company will donate a pair of shoes to a kid in need. Hmm…sound familiar? That’s because the line is a total shameless ripoff of Toms shoes. They even look exactly the same.

Look, I’m all for another company donating shoes to the needy, but couldn’t Sketchers have designed a different shoe and called it something other than a single first name? Oh wait, they couldn’t, because they only know how to make heinous sneakers, which I highly doubt Joe Montana actually wears (I mean, seriously. Shape-ups?). Wack move, Sketchers. -NC
